Uppsala climbing club was started in 1974, today we are approximately 120 members. UKK aims at outdoor as well as indoor climbing and arranges a variety of activities such as competitions, climbing-trip, gatherings and occasionally courses for members. For the youngest there are children’s climbing once a week based on parents participation.

To become a member, pay the membership fee to pg 818491-3 and make sure to add your social security number to the payment – it’s for the insurance. Then send an email to our cashier at kassor.ukk@gmail.com stating your name, social security number, phone number, address and email.

As a member you can participate in activities arranged by UKK, partake in climbing-trips partly sponsored by the UKK and climb at crux with us once a week at reduced price. The activities are good opportunities to meet other climbers and to learn more about the area.

Membership fee is 280:- sek

If in lack of equipment, UKK provides climbing gear for rent. Check the homepage for gearlist and contact info.

UKK deals with access issues for climbing sites around Uppsala. If in doubt concerning access, contact the board at styrelsen.ukk@gmail.com.

There are four indoor walls in Uppsala: Campus 1477 Science Park, Campus 1477 Blåsenhus, Crux, and SMUUKK.
